Cecile Charlton, Executive Director
Cecile has been the DCTMA Executive Director since 1999. In this role, she works directly with SEPTA, the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC), PennDOT, local municipalities, emergency response personnel, elected officials, and business leaders to discuss transportation issues and initiatives impacting Delaware County.
Cecile’s commitment to her community is demonstrated by her involvement with a variety of organizations. She serves on the board of directors for Community Transit, Inc.; the Brandywine Convention and Visitors Bureau; Congressman Pat Meehan’s U.S. Military Academy Selection Committee. She also serves on the Upper Darby Weed & Seed Committee and the Route 202 Advisory Committee. Cecile received Delaware County Community College’s Star Alumni Award in 2002. In 2003 she was given the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce’s ATHENA Award for an outstanding woman in business, and in 2006 she received the Spirit of Excellence Award from the Delaware County Friends of The Women’s Commission. In 2003, she was chosen to be a civilian member of the National Security Seminar at the U. S. Army War College, Carlisle Barracks in Pennsylvania. Cecile is a life-long resident of Delaware County and is a graduate of Haverford High School, Delaware County Community College, and St. Joseph’s University.
Terri Salvadore, Director of Operations
Terri has been with the DCTMA for 20 years. Her primary responsibility is to manage grant reporting, accounts payable and receivable, and coordinate other financial matters for the DCTMA. She is a graduate of Neumann University. Terri currently resides in Middletown with her husband, and is the mother of three and grandmother of six.
Lauren Amway, Project Coordinator
Lauren Amway joined us in January 2013 as Project Coordinator.
Lauren has been working in the transportation field since 2010. She most recently worked for the Public Health Management Corporation’s Street Smarts Highway Safety Project where she planned, coordinated and conducted injury prevention programs throughout Delaware County.
Lauren enjoys staying physically active. She has been a swimmer since she was six years old, takes Zumba dance classes almost every day, and she also does triathlons. She was born and raised in West Chester and she is a West Chester University graduate.
Lauren Avellino Turton, Marketing Coordinator
Lauren joined DCTMA in July 2012, and plays a key role in the New Freedom Travel Training program, Access to Jobs EXPO, Bike/Pedestrian Committee, as well as DCTMA’s public relations and social media campaigns.
She has 15 years of experience in writing, public relations, and event planning. She most recently worked at the Delaware County Courthouse, and prior to that, spent years developing her skills at television stations, news publications, and public relations firms.
Lauren is an avid runner and cycling enthusiast, and supports several charities in the area. She and her husband live in Media.
Patricia Franzonia, Communications Manager
Patricia has re-joined the DCTMA after previously working as the Marketing Coordinator from 2006-2008.
Patricia was in Marketing and Communications positions for the past six years for engineering firms. She will now be the point person for social media and the DCTMA website, as well as engineering firm outreach for partnership on local municipal projects.
Patricia is a Saint Joseph’s University graduate, enjoys participating in and following equestrian sports, and lives locally with her husband and baby daughter.
Bridget Waldron, Project Coordinator
Bridget is a recent graduate of West Chester University and joined the DCTMA in January 2015. She will be responsible for the coordination of several major projects for the DCTMA, including the 2015 Municipalities Conference and Trade Show and 2015 Access to Jobs EXPO.
While at West Chester University, Bridget interned for Comcast-Spectacor as a Complex-Marketing Intern and the Philadelphia Flyers as a Community Relations and Fan Development Intern.
Bridget is an avid gym goer, loves reading, and spending summers down the shore. She currently lives in Media with her family.
