BRAVO!!!
It was a packed house today at Surrey Havertown for our big Travel Training Video Premiere Party! DCTMA threw an Oscar-themed event and we had dozens of special guests in the audience for the star-studded debut. No party is complete without mini Oscar statuettes for our celebs, swag bags filled with fun stuff, glitzy decor, and a special luncheon party!
VIP guests included - our Premiere Sponsor Beneficial Bank, DCTMA staff and Executive Board, Surrey staff and Delaware County Advisory Council members, and representatives from SEPTA. And of course, our Hollywood stars, the Surrey Seniors!
The DCTMA Travel Training team recently produced an instructional video with our friends from Surrey which demonstrates how easily and efficiently older riders can take public transit.
We will show this video during future Travel Training presentations to encourage older riders to ride public transit, and help make them feel more comfortable riding a bus, train, or trolley.
