MIPC Drilling & Monitoring Well Work on Chichester Avenue

MIPC will be conducting drilling activities along Chichester Avenue near the 5900 block, south of Concord Road, beginning Monday, August 24. The work is expected to last approximately 1–2 weeks and will include the installation of six monitoring wells within the public right-of-way.

Traffic safety controls will be in place, and efforts will be made to minimize disruptions to local traffic and nearby properties.

SEPTA Rail Crossing Improvement to Close Lansdowne Avenue Next Week in Upper Darby Township

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that SEPTA is scheduled to perform a rail crossing improvement on Lansdowne Avenue in Upper Darby Township, Delaware County, beginning Friday, August 7.

Weather permitting, drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:

Local access will be maintained at all times. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or along the detour routes because backups and delays may occur.
