PAST EVENTS:

On Thursday, October 15, 2026, the DCTMA hosted its Fall Legislative Transportation Forum at Springfield Country Club in Springfield, PA. The event brought together elected officials, municipal leaders, transportation professionals, business partners, and community stakeholders to discuss important transportation issues, legislative priorities, and ongoing initiatives impacting Delaware County and the surrounding region.

Featured speakers included Pennsylvania Senator Timothy Kearney, State Representative Jennifer O’Mara, and Delaware County Councilwoman Elaine Paul Schaefer. Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon also participated by providing a prerecorded video message for attendees.

The forum provided an opportunity for attendees to hear directly from elected officials about current transportation challenges, legislative developments, and future priorities at the local, state, and federal levels. Discussions emphasized the importance of collaboration between government agencies, transportation organizations, municipalities, and community partners to improve mobility, strengthen infrastructure, and support economic growth throughout Delaware County.
