No Weekday Service Monday, July 24 to Friday, July 28

Weekend Partial Shuttle Busing Beginning July 22

SEPTA is reminding customers that continuing work on the Southwest Connection Improvement Program (SCIP) will significantly impact service on the Media/Wawa Line beginning Saturday, July 22 and continuing through Saturday, August 26. Full service and schedule information and information about the SCIP program is available online here.

Monday, July 24 to Friday, July 28 – NO SERVICE (Train or shuttle bus) on the Media/Wawa Line. Please see alternate travel information on www.septa.org
Weekdays from July 31 to August 25 – Rail Service will operate from Wawa Station to 49th Street Station only.  Shuttle buses will replace trains between 49th Street Station and Gray 30th Street Station.

Weekends from July 22 to August 26 – Rail Service will operate from Wawa Station to Swarthmore Station only.  Shuttle buses will replace trains between Swarthmore and Gray 30th Street Station.

NO SERVICE : Monday, July 24 to Friday, July 28

Due to a Philadelphia Water Department Sewer Line project, service on the Media/Wawa Line will be suspended from July 24 – July 28.  During this time, no trains will operate on the line and there will be NO shuttle bus replacement.  Alternate service options include:

  • Extra service on the Wilmington/Newark Line between Marcus Hook and Darby Stations
  • Additional parking for Norwood Station is available at Interboro High School
  • Alternate service on Bus and Trolley Routes – schedules are available at www.septa.org.
Weekday Partial Shuttle Bus Replacement : M – F July 31 to August 25

  • Train service will operate between Wawa & 49th Street Stations
  • Shuttle buses will substitute for train service between 49th Street, 33rd & Spruce Streets (Penn Medicine area) and William H. Gray III 30th Street Station
  • Shuttle bus from 49th Street will board on Chester Ave.
  • Shuttle Buses from William H. Gray III 30th Street Station will board from 30th Street Station side

Weekend Partial Shuttle Bus Replacement: Sat. & Sun. July 22 to August 26

  • Train service will operate between Wawa and Swarthmore Stations
  • Shuttle buses will substitute for train service between Swarthmore Station, 33rd & Spruce Streets (Penn Medicine area) & William H. Gray III 30th Street Station
  • Shuttle bus from Swarthmore will board in the outbound parking lot
  • Shuttle buses from William H. Gray III 30th Street Station will board from 30th Street Station side
  • Please refer to temporary weekend timetables for service information
