SEPTA to Close Route 420 (Kedron Avenue/Woodland Avenue) for Rail Improvements in Morton Borough
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that SEPTA will be performing rail improvements on Route 420 (Kedron Avenue/Woodland Avenue) in Morton Borough, Delaware County, beginning Friday, July 28.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- From 9:00 AM on Friday, July 28, to 6:00 PM on Monday, July 31, Route 420 (Kedron Avenue/Woodland Avenue) will be closed at the intersection with Morton Avenue. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Baltimore Pike, Bishop Avenue, Providence Road, South Avenue, and MacDade Boulevard.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
